A guide on e-commerce

Website development WordPress is all about buying and selling different goods and services. Not only this, but it also includes and plays a role of medium for the transaction of funds through the data (an electronic network which is the internet ).

These transactions can be business-related or consumer related.

The terms and conditions for either e-business or e-commerce are sometimes interchangeable because the medium of transaction or delivery of goods is almost identical in these two.

Over the last 2 decades, e-commerce has spread widely and converted to massive platforms such as Amazon, Ali Baba, and eBay. These primary three collectively have contributed a lot in this lane of working. The growth in online retail is humongous just because of these three.

Still, nowadays, many people start their e-commerce and get ideas and ways of working from these three. By the time of 2011, it was e-commerce that accounted for total retail sales of 5%.

And the survey conducted and organized by the United States Census Bureau claimed that in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the entire world, 5% of retail sales bumped upto a total of 16%.

Working

E-commerce is dependent on the internet. If there is no access to the internet, the business can't run or operates. And there is a need for continuous connection so that the updating, feeding, and sources can be managed upto date.

The need for a system, laptop, or mobile phone is ideal.

Orders

The consumer or the user will communicate with the server host back and forth whenever the order is made. This is important because it is information and privacy-free.

The delivery address, product size, service module, phone number, email address, and the way of paying method all of these has to be filled in by the consumer itself. Once the order is dispatched, and all necessary information is supplied, the tracking ID is only made for that specific product. By that tracking ID, the consumer or the user can track their package all the time.

Dark side

Business loss and disadvantages are part of their lives. No business ever created or going on; in its lifetime, he never suffered any loss or got threats ( disadvantages ).

Some of the few disadvantages that once in a life every customer suffers from are as under:

1.        Limited customer service

If customers are concerned about their product, such as quality or anything, the local store can help them. Maybe a store manager or clerk. But in e-commerce, these services are limited. Some site provides this service but only for 1 hour.

2.        Product experience

Many people got trust issues in website development with WordPress, which is about product usage and quality. They can't check or inspect it; they don't even know what it will be a condition of it when it arrives.

3.        Waiting time

You go to the local store, search for a product, buy it, and are on your way. This is not how things work in e-commerce. You have to wait days for your product to be delivered to your address.
